Helping Forward: Step Into Your Future
You’ve heard of Helping Hands. But have you heard of Helping Forward? HFA’s Helping Forward program, launched in 2019, empowers community members to move forward into a sustainable future through career planning and financial management.
Helping Forward addresses the root issues that cause many community members to enter a cycle of financial insecurity: physically and financially unsustainable jobs, a lack of funds needed for the job training that would allow them to excel in a sustainable job, difficulty navigating their rights in the workplace, and living month-to-month or in debt when income doesn’t cover expenses. Join this session to find out more about Helping Forward AND to share your insights to shape future Helping Forward programming. Let’s step into the future together!
