Pain management can be a “sore subject” in the bleeding disorders community. In this session participants will learn about nonpharmacologic pain management techniques that have documented usage in persons with bleeding disorders. This session will also provide attendees with additional strategies to assist with managing pain.
Angela Lambing MSN, ANP, GNP
Angela Lambing is a nurse practitioner for over 30 years, with certification in adult and geriatric care. She has spent more than 20 years in the bleeding disorder community, where she was the coordinator for an HTC in Detroit Michigan for 15 years, followed by 6 years in pharma as an nurse educator. Her passion areas include pain and aging issues in bleeding disorders. She is widely published with multiple publications in these areas. Angela has given lectures locally, nationally, and internationally on a variety of topics specific to bleeding disorders.
