Mental Health First Aid Training—Part 2 (HFA Board)

This session is part two of the training that started on Wednesday and is required in order to be certified in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). MHFA is a program of the National Council For Mental Wellbeing. Participants will leave the training with · Recognition of the signs/symptoms of common mental health conditions · Skills involved with having a meaningful and effective conversation about mental health · Knowledge about resources for emotional/behavioral challenges. HFA offered 4 MHFA trainings in 2021 and is committed to offering another 4 in 2022.
